BACK, NECK AND JOINT PAIN

It is a common misconception that osteopaths only treat back pain, However we are very good at it and treat back pain caused by all sorts of things e.g. disc injuries, trapped nerves, muscle spasms, whiplash etc.

Osteopathy can be used to treat all joints including hips, knees, ankles, wrists etc. Osteopathy can help relieve the pain associated with arthritic conditions, swelling, cartilage injuries, ligament injuries and general tightness/stiffness.

Osteopaths also make sure that your affected joint is working correctly with the surrounding joints and the spine. We check that your posture and surrounding joints aren’t making your complaint worse or causing it to reoccur.

Osteopaths often give specific, gentle exercises or stretches that you can do at home as well as other advice to help you manage your pain.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY

“It’s amazing how many people overlook cranial osteopathy as a treatment option! The treatment I receive (from Lauren ‘Magic Hands’ Manning) for easing the inflammation of Rheumatoid Arthritis and two Mortons Neuroma is irreplaceable and usually provides immediate relief although, after a particularly bad flare up, can sometimes take days to settle in which is to be expected. Lovely surroundings, peaceful non-invasive treatment and friendly approach. Speaking from a chronic inflammation stand point, it’s like uncovering a diamond Can’t recommend highly enough. Thanks Lauren!”
